My work has always been guided by one simple purpose: helping people feel better about themselves, in body and in mind.
Charlotte BrackenFoot Health Practitioner & Holistic Therapist
Hello, I’m Charlotte
Personal care, shaped around you.
With a deeply rooted passion for client health and wellness, my journey as a therapist has always been guided by a single, core mission: helping people feel better about themselves.
I started out as a holistic and beauty therapist, developing a calm, individual approach to care before going on to support patients and families as a hospice wellbeing therapist.
I believe true care addresses both body and mind. That means listening carefully, taking time to understand what you need and making every treatment feel calm, comfortable and completely personal.
Today, I’m proud to bring my combined skills directly into the heart of the community through mobile treatments across Horsham and the surrounding area.
I am CRB checked, insured and qualified to treat a large range of foot complaints, medical pedicures, manicures and holistic therapies.
Each stage of my career has strengthened the same belief: thoughtful, compassionate care can restore comfort, confidence and a sense of wellbeing.

Where my journey began
Holistic & beauty therapy
I started out as a holistic and beauty therapist. This gave me a strong foundation in personalised care and taught me how thoughtful treatments can ease physical tension, restore mental clarity and help people feel more confident in themselves.
02
A foundation in compassionate care
Hospice wellbeing therapist
My career in care flourished while working as a wellbeing therapist for a hospice. Supporting people in palliative care taught me the profound value of touch, empathy and dedicated comfort. It was a privilege to create moments of peace for patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging times.

Comfort from the ground up
Foot Health Practitioner
Recognising how closely mobility, independence and confidence are connected to healthy feet, I trained as a Foot Health Practitioner. Alongside my client work, I spent eight years working as a BSYA assessor and teaching practical training, helping future practitioners develop safe, confident hands-on skills.
“For me, this work is more than a profession—it is a lifelong commitment to nurturing health, restoring confidence and delivering compassionate care to the people who need it most.”
Hygiene & safety
Your wellbeing is always the priority.
At Sussex Mind & Body, your health and safety are my absolute priorities. Every treatment follows careful hygiene practices, with instruments and consumables managed appropriately between every client.
This protects you, protects me and allows you to relax knowing that your care is being delivered professionally.
Medical-grade autoclaving
Reusable metal instruments are carefully cleaned, prepared and sterilised using high-pressure steam in a medical-grade autoclave between clients.
Single-use disposables
Items that cannot be autoclaved are used once only and disposed of safely after every client.
PPE & client protection
Appropriate single-use PPE and consumable items are provided to protect your comfort, health and safety throughout treatment.
Your first visit
Safe, suitable and centred on you.
A comprehensive medical questionnaire is completed before treatment. For foot health appointments, this is followed by a careful assessment and a conversation about the most appropriate care.
